Our Story

In 1951, Alessandro Momesso left Italy for Canada, chasing new opportunities with the same passion he brought to the soccer field back home. While his dreams of professional sports took a different turn, his entrepreneurial spirit thrived.

A small coffee shop became a neighborhood restaurant, a gathering place where food and family were always at the heart of it all.

His son, Sergio Momesso, carried that same drive onto the ice, making his mark with the Montreal Canadiens in 1983.

Decades later, it was Sergio’s wife, Noella, who brought a fresh chapter to the family’s legacy.

In 2021, Noella launched Momesso Foodie — a line of small-batch, homemade antipasti and spreads inspired by authentic Italian flavors.

What began as jars lovingly shared with family and friends quickly grew into a beloved brand, now carried in over 200 retail locations across Quebec and Ontario.

Every jar of Momesso is a tribute to heritage, connection, and the enduring magic of food made with love.
